Who we are
This site and the SI Law Briefing are run by Super Intelligence Law, an Ontario corporation, at 31 Davidson Drive, Woodbridge, Ontario L4L 1M2. Questions about this notice or your information go to daniel@superintelligencelaw.ca.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe to the briefing.
- Basic subscription records kept by our email provider: when and where you signed up, your confirmation, and whether you open or click on an issue.
- Anything you choose to send us by email, such as a reply to an issue or a sponsorship enquiry.
Why we use it
We use your email address to send the briefing you asked for, and the open and click records to understand which parts readers find useful. We do not sell or rent your information, and sponsors never receive subscriber lists.
Who handles it for us
- beehiiv stores the subscriber list and sends the briefing. The sign-up form on this site is provided by beehiiv.
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads.
These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
Your choices
- Every issue has an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect right away.
- You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing daniel@superintelligencelaw.ca.
- If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
How long we keep it
We keep your subscription information while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to respect that choice.
